Devlog

April 6, 2018

You may have noticed that I only have a total of six blog posts here on my website over the course of two years. This is because I really only tend to use this blog space for when I reach certain milestones as an indie dev; for example, releasing a new game. The rest of the time I spend my time posting updates about my game development progress on Twitter (check it out here).

About two months ago I started working on a new game that was bigger than anything I've worked on before. I was chugging along with development when I got hit with some inspiration for a silly little game that I figured would make an excellent side project to work on when I got burnt out developing my primary game. With all of this crazy awesome game development going on I wanted a way to share my progress with those that would find interest in my process and progress; Twitter's 280 character limit only goes so far. I decided the best way to do this was with a devlog.

I decided to put my devlog up on my Patreon. You can get access to the devlog for only $1 and the Patreon is on a per game creation plan, so you'll only ever get charged when I release a game; which, frankly, is only a few times a year at most. So if you're interested in what I'm doing and how I'm doing it, or you just want to help support my game development, feel free to check out my Patreon here!
